The GoDev Roadmap?

The primary objective of this website is to provide a platform for developers to learn, share and grow. Our commitment is to provide a forum which allows for well organized discussions, resources and tools to help developers elevate their careers, start their learning journey or find answers to questions by sharing knowledge and experiences with others.

Building an inclusive community is a top priority. We aim to provide a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of experience or skill level. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. This code of conduct applies to all GoDev spaces, including the website, social media, and events. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the GoDev team.

Building a community is a long-term commitment. We are dedicated to continuously improving our community and welcome your feedback. Please help us by following this code of conduct, and by working together to make our community a better place for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at team@godev.com

In the future, we plan to add the following features to the website:

  • Job board, allowing companies to post job openings and developers to find new opportunities.
  • Freelance board, allowing developers to find freelance work and companies to find developers for short-term projects.
  • Mentorship program, allowing developers to find mentors and mentees to help each other grow.
  • Learning resources, including tutorials, articles, and videos to help developers learn new skills.
  • Developer profiles, allowing developers to showcase their skills and experience to potential employers.
  • Company profiles, allowing companies to showcase their culture and values to potential employees.

These features will help us achieve our goal of providing a platform for developers to learn, share, and grow. We are excited to continue building our community and hope you will join us on this journey.

Any plans to add an "About" section to describe who runs GoDev? This can answer questions about who funds the site, how the site relates to any corporate sponsors if any, and who is responsible for moderation.

Visiting several forums, the "unread" button (or grayed out already read subjects), is a must for any forum. This makes it faster to find updated and new questions.

Is there any way to Open-Contribution?
